Introduction: There is no tomorrow (in a material sense)

I. Chapter 1: We must be unified in the same Gospel
   A. 1:5 by reason of your participation in the progress of the gospel (not only towards others, but also toward ourselves)
      1. 1:9-10 that our love may abound even more in real knowledge and discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent (distinguish between the things that differ; between good and evil)
      2. 3:2 beware
      3. 1:27-28 only conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ, so that whether I come...or remain absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving for the faith of the Gospel

II. Chapter 2: We must have the same mind, love, spirit and purpose (2:1-2)
   A. 2:3-11 conducting ourselves according to the example of Christ
   B. 2:14-16 conducting ourselves as children of God

   C. 4:8-9 whatsover is honorable, right, pure, lovely, good repute...
III.  Chapter 3: We must have the same values
   A. 3:8 considering the things of this world but rubbish
      1. 3:15-16 this is the sentiment of those who are mature
      2. 3:20 our citizenship is in heaven

IV. Chapter 4: We must live in peace and harmony (4:2-3)
   A. 4:5 having a spirit of forbearance
   B. 4:6-7 living without any anxiety, with the peace of God that surpasses all comprehension

V. We must rejoice together
   A. 3:1
   B. 4:4
VI. We must give together
   A. 4:10-12,15-18

suggestion: that we work on giving together

VII. Apocalyptic letter to the Philippians.  (I didn't read this letter in the Bible or in any other written text.  I read it in the rocks of the ruins of the city itself.)
   "To the angel of the church of Philippi write: The perfect builder, who is the foundation of the church, says this: I know your zeal, that only you participated with Paul with receiving and giving from the time he left Macedonia.  You know that this was a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.  But I have this against you: that your zeal exceeded your knowledge.  In your fervor to build churches, you stopped building the church.  Remember that in which you rejoiced, and repent.  If not, I will come to you and cause your buildings to fall on your heads.  He who has an ear hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  He who wins will have a place in the house of God, the church."
