|MAT 8:2 And behold, a leper came to
Him, and bowed down to Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me
MAT 8:3 And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

|MAR 1:40 ¶ And a leper came to Him, beseeching
Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You
can make me clean."

MAR 1:42 And immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
MAR 1:43 And He sternly warned him and immediately sent him away,
MAR 1:44 and He said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them."
MAR 1:45 But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news about, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.
|LUK 5:12 ¶ And it came about that
while He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of leprosy; and when he
saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing,
You can make me clean."
LUK 5:13 And He stretched out His hand, and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.
LUK 5:14 And He ordered him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them."
LUK 5:15 But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and great multitudes were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.
LUK 5:16 But He Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
Paralytic healed (Capernaum)
|MAT 9:1 And getting into a boat, He
crossed over, and came to His own city.
MAT 9:2 And behold, they were bringing to Him a paralytic, lying on a bed; and Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic, "Take courage, My son, your sins are forgiven."
MAT 9:3 And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This fellow blasphemes."
MAT 9:4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, "Why are you thinking evil in your hearts?
MAT 9:5 "For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise, and walk'?
MAT 9:6 "But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"-- then He said to the paralytic-- "Rise, take up your bed, and go home."
MAT 9:7 And he rose, and went home.
MAT 9:8 But when the multitudes saw this, they were filled with awe, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
|MAR 2:1 And when He had come back
to Capernaum several days afterward, it was heard that He was at home.
MAR 2:2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room, even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them.
MAR 2:3 And they came, bringing to Him a paralytic, carried by four men.
MAR 2:4 And being unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying.
MAR 2:5 And Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven."
MAR 2:6 But there were some of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,
MAR 2:7 "Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone?"
MAR 2:8 And immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were reasoning that way within themselves, said to them, "Why are you reasoning about these things in your hearts?
MAR 2:9 "Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven'; or to say, 'Arise, and take up your pallet and walk'?
MAR 2:10 "But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"-- He said to the paralytic--
MAR 2:11 "I say to you, rise, take up your pallet and go home."
MAR 2:12 And he rose and immediately took up the pallet and went out in the sight of all; so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."
|LUK 5:17 ¶ And it came about one day that He
was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had
come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord
was present for Him to perform healing.
LUK 5:18 And behold, some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in, and to set him down in front of Him.
LUK 5:19 And not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, right in the center, in front of Jesus.
LUK 5:20 And seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."
LUK 5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"
LUK 5:22 But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?
LUK 5:23 "Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'?
LUK 5:24 "But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"-- He said to the paralytic-- "I say to you, rise, and take up your stretcher and go home."
LUK 5:25 And at once he rose up before them, and took up what he had been lying on, and went home, glorifying God.
LUK 5:26 And they were all seized with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."
Matthew called; he gives a banquet (Capernaum)
|MAT 9:9 ¶ And as Jesus passed on
from there, He saw a man, called Matthew, sitting in the tax office; and He said to him,
"Follow Me!" And he rose, and followed Him.
MAT 9:10 ¶ And it happened that as He was reclining at the table in the house, behold many tax-gatherers and sinners came and were dining with Jesus and His disciples.
MAT 9:11 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, "Why is your Teacher eating with the tax-gatherers and sinners?"
MAT 9:12 But when He heard this, He said, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.
MAT 9:13 "But go and learn what this means, 'I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
|MAR 2:13 ¶ And He went out again by the
seashore; and all the multitude were coming to Him, and He was teaching them.
MAR 2:14 And as He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax office, and He said to him, "Follow Me!" And he rose and followed Him.
MAR 2:15 ¶ And it came about that He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax-gatherers and sinners were dining with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many of them, and they were following Him.
MAR 2:16 And when the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax-gatherers, they began saying to His disciples, "Why is He eating and drinking with tax-gatherers and sinners?"
MAR 2:17 And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
|LUK 5:27 ¶ And after that He went
out, and noticed a tax-gatherer named Levi, sitting in the tax office, and He said to him,
LUK 5:28 And he left everything behind, and rose and began to follow Him.
LUK 5:29 ¶ And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax-gatherers and other people who were reclining at the table with them.
LUK 5:30 And the Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax-gatherers and sinners?"
LUK 5:31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.
LUK 5:32 "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."
The old and the new (Capernaum)
|MAT 9:14 ¶ Then the disciples of
John came to Him, saying, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do
MAT 9:15 And Jesus said to them, "The attendants of the bridegroom cannot mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
MAT 9:16 "But no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear results.
MAT 9:17 "Nor do men put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out, and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved."
|MAR 2:18 ¶ And John's disciples
and the Pharisees were fasting; and they came and said to Him, "Why do John's
disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?"
MAR 2:19 And Jesus said to them, "While the bridegroom is with them, the attendants of the bridegroom do not fast, do they? So long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
MAR 2:20 "But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.
MAR 2:21 "No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; otherwise the patch pulls away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear results.
MAR 2:22 "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins as well; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins."
|LUK 5:33 ¶ And they said to Him, "The
disciples of John often fast and offer prayers; the disciples of the Pharisees also do the
same; but Yours eat and drink."
LUK 5:34 And Jesus said to them, "You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?
LUK 5:35 "But the days will come; and when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days."
LUK 5:36 And He was also telling them a parable: "No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.
LUK 5:37 "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.
LUK 5:38 "But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.
LUK 5:39 "And no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, 'The old is good enough.'"
